Why is the name changing?
Our brand collaboration with Moleskine concluded in 2025 and the apps are returning to their original brand, Bonobo. The same team that has been designing and developing the apps since day one remains unchanged—only the name is reverting.
About Bonobo
Who is Bonobo?
We’re a small team of app designers and developers who created Timepage in 2017 and approached Moleskine to be a brand partner to bring it to a wider audience. Following Timepage, we launched Actions, Flow and Overlap, which were collectively branded as Moleskine Studio. You’ve probably seen the Bonobo name in a few places in our apps already.
Who is developing Timepage, Actions, Flow and Overlap apps?
Bonobo - we’re the builders, designers and makers of the apps and we will continue to develop them for you.
What’s Changing?
Will the apps still have the same names?
Yes! Timepage, Actions, Flow and Overlap will remain the same.
Do I need to resubscribe if I’m a current subscriber?
No action is required. Your current subscriptions will continue seamlessly, and Bonobo will manage the apps as usual without any interruptions.
Do I need to create a new account or re-download the app?
No, your existing account and apps will work as they always have. There’s no need to re-download or repurchase anything.
When will the name change take effect?
The transition is happening gradually. You’ll notice small changes, like the publishing name on the App Store and communications reverting to Bonobo. However, you may still see the Moleskine name in some areas during this process.
What is changing with the apps?
The only change is branding. The apps will no longer carry the Moleskine name, but all features, functionality, and the overall experience will remain the same.
Functionality and Updates
Will the apps still work the same way?
Yes, the apps will continue to function as they always have, with no changes to their features or usability. Some things like URLs will change, but we’ll let you know.
Will my data be affected by the change?
No, your data remains secure and unaffected by the brand change.
Will the app still be updated?
Yes, Bonobo is committed to actively supporting and improving the apps with more updates and features than ever before.
