What are Smart Alerts?
Rain Alerts
Timepage will notify you of the potential of upcoming moderate or heavy rain. Rain Alerts give you the information you need to make decisions about the day - pack an umbrella, take the car instead of your bike, or cancel practice – no need to check another weather app.
Rain Alerts can be customized to only notify you about moderate or heavy rain coming in the future – and with different options to choose from for advanced notice, you can be prepared 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or one hour before the rain is supposed to begin.
Daily Briefing
The daily Briefing is your personal report of what the day has in store, including all the events you have coming up, and the day’s weather forecast.
You can choose if and when you receive a daily briefing. Once you’re in the Daily Briefing setting, choose the best time for you via the slider.
Follow-Ups
When it’s time to follow up with a client or team member, Timepage can alert you with the Follow-Ups feature. Using Follow Ups is simple: enable it to receive a notification to follow up after an event that you’ve scheduled with another person.
In the Follow-Ups settings, you can have Timepage remind you one hour after an event or at a custom time daily, whichever makes more sense for you. You can customize this to your desired time.
Time to Leave
When you add an event’s location, Timepage takes your current location and calculates when you should leave to make it on time. Time to Leave is a notification that lets you know when that time is – and, if you’d like, can notify you in advance so you have time to get ready before you take off.
Different travel methods require more or less preparation, so Time to Leave has default options for driving, biking, and walking. Time to Leave will adjust its time based on what mode you’ll be taking, ensuring that you leave with plenty of time, no matter how you get there.
Some of us may need more of a warning than others, which is why you have four advanced notice options: when you should leave, five minutes before leaving, 15 minutes before leaving, and 30 minutes before leaving. Of course, you can pick your favorite in the Time to Leave settings.
Upcoming
The basic form of notifications are found in Upcoming, which notifies you when or before an event starts at its scheduled time. Upcoming notifications can be set for:
- When event starts
- Five minutes before
- 10 minutes before
- 15 minutes before
- 30 minutes before
- One hour before
- Two hours before
- One day before
- One week before
For all-day events, Upcoming notifications have the following options:
- None
- On day of event at 9 a.m.
- One day before at 9 a.m.
- Two days before at 9 a.m.
- One week before at 9 a.m.
